You'll need a mug<\/strong>, of course! The one shown here is a small mug, about 4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 inches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you use a small mug, the chocolate chip cookie WILL rise above the top of the mug. If you watch the cookie in the microwave, it will rise up a good bit before sinking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We cook our mug cookies in the microwave for 90 seconds. Microwaves vary greatly, so it may take a few tries before you find exactly the right length of time for your perfect mug cookie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prepare the dough in a glass bowl first, rather than right in the mug. This makes mixing so much easier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In place of the chocolate chips, try mini chocolate chips or M & M candies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
